NBN Providers performing contestable works in the NSW telecommunications network for customers ranging from domestic users to large industrial users. Whilst you may already have the appropriate NBN accreditation and authorisation which allows you to work on the telecommunications network, you are required to successfully complete annual refresher training and assessment to maintain your skills, competency, and to maintain you NBN accreditation and distribution networks authorisation.
Annual refresher training requirements for NBN have some variances dependent upon your NBN Accreditation level and tasks performed, however most of these requirements are focussed upon working safely around electrical apparatus, performing rescue procedure appropriate to the work being performed, administering first aid in the event of an injury.
