What we do?

Current Training Services provides training and assessment which is designed to underpin development and maintenance of knowledge, skills and competency which is required by the electrotechnology and energy industry sector.

We also provide a wide range of consultancy and specialist services designed to support your electrotechnology or energy industry sector business operations

  • Our story began in 2017, when three colleagues with a wide range of “hands on” electrotechnology, electricity supply industry experience and technical expertise had a chance meeting.

    Over general conversation they came to realise they shared similar passions for both their industry and the skill development of the industry’s most precious resource – its technicians, tradespeople and workforce.

    This meeting set the both the foundations for the establishment of Current Training Services as business start up in 2021 and as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in 2022.

    We are proud to be an wholly owned and operated Australian company and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) focused upon delivering high quality, training to the Electricity Supply and Electrotechnology Industry sectors.

  • To support skill development within the electricity supply and electrotechnology industries with quality vocational education and training (VET) services

    To provide VET training and assessment outcomes which combine VET competence with industry sector task efficacy.

    To recruit and retain talented VET workplace trainer/assessors that are subject matter experts and who possess and maintain currency of skills and knowledge within their specific area industry expertise.

    To provide electricity supply and electrotechnology industry workers with other training opportunities to support continued professional development within their industry sector

  • Providing high quality industry relevant vocational education and training (VET) outcomes to its students which is reflective of current industry sector knowledge and skill requirements, industry sector standards and industry regulator authorisation/accreditation requirements.

    Providing high quality industry relevant (VET) outcomes to its students which is reflective of current industry sector technologies, products and standards.

    Ensuring that our training is underpinned by VET qualified workplace trainer/assessors that are subject matter experts and who possess and maintain currency of skills and knowledge within their specific area industry expertise.

    Providing relevant customised training and developmental programs (both non-accredited and VET accredited) designed to support professional development of electricity supply/electrotechnology industry workers.
